Spotify Miami, Miami, Florida
Spotify found a location for its Latin American artists and operations at The Oasis, a redeveloped former marine repair building in Miami’s emerging Wynwood arts district. Syska Hennessy worked with Spotify and the architect to deliver creative office spaces for meetings and collaboration, as well as an anchor performance space to showcase Spotify artists.
The showcase performance space, Spotify Hall, was designed for flexibility to support large events for the staff and invited guests. It includes audio, video, and conferencing systems to support live music events as well as corporate all-hands presentations. The systems were designed to support rapid changeover from one event to the next.
The project was designed to reflect South Florida design aesthetics and contemporary Latin American interiors. Syska provided full Information and Communication Technology (ICT) services including AV, IT, and Security design, as well as MEP engineering services. The ICT systems and spaces were designed to meet Spotify’s corporate standards.
