Ali Group/Scotsman Industries Headquarters and R&D Center, Vernon Hills, Illinois
Scotsman Industries, a member of the Ali Group, is the world’s largest ice machine manufacturer. Scotsman relocated their corporate headquarters and the North American headquarters for Ali Group, to a new location in Vernon Hills, IL. Syska Hennessy provided full MEP and technology services for this project.
The 90,000 sf building includes a research and development facility with test chambers, test kitchen, and light manufacturing space. The design also included a warehouse space, server room with redundant cooling and power, and VRF supplemental cooling system.
Technology systems include structured cabling, full audiovisual design, and security design with access control and video surveillance.
