Add to Brochure

Syska Hennessy Group is providing MEP/FP engineering and conveyance services for the O’Hare Global Terminal project, which will connect domestic flights non-stop to destinations around the world from under one roof. It is expected to more than double the space of today’s Terminal 2. Designed by Jeanne Gang, the O’Hare Global Terminal will be realized by an integrated architectural design and engineering team composed of Studio Gang, Solomon Cordwell Buenz (SCB), Corgan, Milhouse Engineering & Construction, Inc., and STLarchitects.

At 2.2 million square feet, the new Terminal will be one of the largest and most cutting-edge terminals in the nation. It is the centerpiece of ORD21, the $8.5 billion multi-dimensional, multi-phased umbrella for the long-term vision of O’Hare. Over the next decade, ORD will deliver 25% more gate space, a more streamlined passenger experience, and enable O’Hare’s future growth to better connect travelers and Chicago to other parts of the world. Additionally, there will be no loss of gate capacity throughout the design and construction of the O’Hare Global Terminal.
