Vicki Hobson Joins Syska Hennessy Group
as Director of Human Resources/Associate Partner
New York, NY — Syska Hennessy Group, an international consulting, engineering and commissioning firm, has appointed Vicki Hobson, SPHR, SHRM-SPC, as director of human resources and associate partner.
In her new role, Ms. Hobson will oversee the leadership and management of Syska’s HR department, driving the design and implementation of an HR infrastructure and programs that will enhance employee engagement and development.
Ms. Hobson has extensive experience in similar roles at large organizations. Most recently, she served as the vice president of human resources at a prominent real estate development firm. Over the course of her HR career, she has overseen onboarding and employee engagement, recruitment and talent retention, benefits administration, performance management, annual compensation planning, employee and labor relations, leadership development, HRIS, and regulatory labor compliance.

Ms. Hobson received a B.S. in business management from Capella University. In addition, she studied pre-med at St. John’s University.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Ms. Hobson now resides in Sunnyside, NY. She is active in several professional organizations: the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), the Human Resources Association of New York (HR/NY), World at Work, and the National Multi-Housing Council (NMHC).
