Syska Hennessy Group, has appointed Divya Hariharan, MBA, as director of strategic initiatives. She will be based in the firm’s New York City office.
In her new role on the business advisory team, Ms. Hariharan will lead facilities management, real estate, leasing, and the rollout of a new enterprise resource planning system.
Previously, she worked at MetLife Group Inc., most recently as director – strategy & planning. Her earlier positions there focused on program management, governance, and global projects. Before joining MetLife, she served as a strategic sourcing analyst at Pride Technologies in New York City, and as a software developer at Mastek Ltd. In Mumbai, India.
“Divya has a business background and an engineering background, which is an ideal combination,” says Cyrus Izzo, co-president of Syska. “Her technical understanding of the field allows her to balance operational considerations with the needs of our staff. This balance is critical to strategic decision-making.”
A resident of Pelham, NY, Ms. Hariharan earned her MBA from Rutgers Business School, and holds a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from K.J. Somaiya College of Engineering in Mumbai.
