New York, NY — Donn McMullen, CFM, BCxP, an expert in facility operations, has joined the New York office of Syska Hennessy Group. In his new roles of technical manager and senior associate, he will lead facilities management and commissioning projects.

Mr. McMullen has more than 30 years of experience. Previously, he was the director of global operations for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, overseeing maintenance, engineering, and utilities for R&D facilities.

“Facilities management has become increasingly complex as more and more organizations embrace automation and integrated systems,” says Robert Ioanna, managing principal and site leader of Syska’s New York City office. “Donn has worked on many large-scale projects, and he’s comfortable with these high levels of complexity. We will draw on his expertise as we apply the latest industry innovations to our client work.”

A resident of Mount Vernon, NY, Mr. McMullen received an MS in bioengineering from Pennsylvania State University and a BA in engineering and applied sciences from Harvard University. He is a member of the International Facilities Management Association (IFMA).
