Gregory Jasmin

Principal

Greg joined the Syska Hennessy Group team in 1996, first as an intern, then as an engineer in the facilities management group. Quickly earning a reputation for his understanding of how to address clients’ problems, Greg helped Syska establish a dominant presence in the mission critical industry.

After 15 years and three stateside offices, and with an aspiration to grow the Syska brand, Greg took his journey overseas with the launch of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) office in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), in 2012. Greg now resides in Dubai and is the principal and managing director of the MENA office, where he has technical and operational oversight of the region for MENA operations.

Pledged to deliver a seamless client experience, Greg’s leadership helps the MENA office secure and deliver projects in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Oman and Kuwait while remaining a strong force in the region. The office completed one of the most technologically advanced data centers in East Africa for the largest bank in Tanzania. While known for its critical facilities work, he expanded the office’s services offerings to include healthcare, hospitality and mixed-use development projects. Greg and his team were an integral part behind the design of the “Office of the Future,” the world’s first 3D-printed office building.

Fueled by his passion for the architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) industry and commitment to raising the bar, Greg remains active in the regional data-center market as a regular conference presenter. Greg is a founding member and executive director of 7×24 Exchange International MENA (Dubai) Chapter as well as the international representative for the chapter. He is frequently cited as an adept source for magazines such as ENR, Building Design+Construction, MEP Middle East, Facilities Manager and FMtoday (Facilities Management Today).

It is his thirst for progress, unparalleled work ethic and promise to provide a quality product to all clients that makes Greg an essential part of the Syska culture.

Greg is active with his family and his wife and three children’s extracurricular activities. He is a painter and amateur photographer and loves exploring different countries during his family vacations.
